Happy National Teddy Bear Day!!!
Cuddle up to your favorite teddy today!
A little history about the Teddy Bear. The name comes from President Theodore Roosevelt whose nickname was "Teddy." November 1902 Roosevelt was invited to a bear-hunting trip. After he was unsuccessful a someone brought him a baby bear and asked him to shoot it. Roosevelt found compassion in the bear and let it go. The Washington Post illustrated the incident as "Drawing the Line." Who knew that such a cuddly animal came from this incident.
*Send us a pic of your teddy and we'll post it, sbrunthiscity@gmail.com.

Who knew football players cared about their hair as much as we do. Read about Troy Polamalu's policy here.

New machine unveiled to clean-up oil...awesome
"Here's a new way of looking at oil spill clean-up: Forget the big, massive work crews and hefty price tags. Instead, just deploy an armey of autonomous, oil scrubbing robots. They can find the oil on their own. And when they reah the site of an oil spill, they talk to their robot friends to figure out the best way to get the whole thing mopped up." CNN
