Los Feliz -
Picture two staircases, one that leads to into a cave like room and another into a old classic pink room. We started off the night in the cave/bar room on a long table where we squeezed 20 people. We all shared laughs, drinks, more drinks, and yummy food. The food was exceptional! B, of course, ordered two things: flautas de polo en mole poblano and barbacoa tacos. The mole was absolutely delicious and reminded B of her mother's and the beef was seasoned to perfection. B handed off her left-overs to Justinien, he in turn gave her this nod that said, "I'm satisfied and want MORE". B's coworker MR ordered the pepita salad, let's just say we left it on the table. Not impressed. W's De Atun ceviche was delicious minus the confusion with the waiter who told us they ran out of tuna yet she was still served her ceviche...weird.
KL - the service was slow, guac was warm, the chips let's just say AMAZING. Served in a brown paper bag with grease stains aka they were fresh. We couldn't help but down two bags of chips and ask for more. The margs that I was downing were good, but too sweet.
B was surprised with a birthday cake and loved the moment she was sung to.
We danced the night away in the second basement. Loo was spotted doing a badass robot. The music was amazing, too bad it was empty.
Food - amazing
Service - maddddd slow
Drinks - killer
Music - you'll be fist pumpin' & shakin' your booty all night
